Indian Air Force invites Indian citizens (Men and Women) to be part of this elite force as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. AFCAT Notification 2019 – Exam Date, Apply Online, Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification AFCAT 2019 (II) Notification :

What is the age limit, Application Fee and Pay Scale of Join Indian Air Force – AFCAT Notification 2019 ?

Age Criteria of Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry : 20 to 24 years as on 01 Jan 2020 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).

(ii) Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch : 20 to 26 years as on 01 Jan 2020 i.e. born between 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).

Examination fee for AFCAT Notification 2019 Entry

After filling in the online application form, an examination fee of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for meteorology and NCC special entry)is to be paid via online payment mode through the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application. No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) will accepted towards payment of examination fee. The examination fee is to be paid using credit/debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway. Applicants are advised to follow the instructions/steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep the transaction details for their records. Once the exam fee is received by the IAF, the status of the payment shall be reflected in the “Payment Status”.

What is Pay Scale and Salary Structure For AFCAT Notification 2019 :

AFCAT Salary 2019 – Know Branch wise salary and allowances : AFCAT Salary Definition. The Pay scale of each branch differs in structure as defined by IAF. A Flying Officer is racked in Pay Band (15,600 – 39,100) per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay.

AFCAT 2 2019 Recruitment Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The applicants qualified shall be provided the opportunity to select the SSB dates and centers according to the suitability. The applicants shall be examined by the SSB centers and the selected applicants will referred further for medical test and document verification. To be accepted for the posts offered by Indian Air Force through AFCAT 2 Exam 2019, one must score minimum qualifying marks both in written test and AFSB test as prescribed by the IAF. Candidates will selected on the marks secured by them in both AFCAT & EKT.

  • The screening test is the first stage of the interview, which consists of verbal, nonverbal tests and a PPDT test. The selected candidates will stay at the centres for further selection tests and those who could not qualify it, would be set free on the same day.
  • The next stage consists of a personal interview, Psychology and GTO tests, PABT (for flying only), on the last day conference will bconducted after which, the final result is announced. The selected candidates are sent for medical examination.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website and click on ‘Apply Now’ link.
  • Find and click on the ‘Candidate’s Login’ link
  • Register as a new user by clicking on ‘New Candidate’.
  • Enter personal details along with a valid email id. Login credentials will sent via mail to this email id.
  • Username and Password received in mail must then be entered to complete the registration part.

Step 2: Filling AFCAT Application Form

  • Once registered, read the given instructions carefully and click on ‘Proceed’ button.
  • Fill the AFCAT Application Form 2019 as given in 2 parts, namely ‘Details of Graduation’ and ‘Details of 10+2’.

Step 3: Uploading Documents and Making Payment

  • Upload high quality scanned images of Passport size photograph, signature and right thumb impression in specified format.
  • Application fee of INR 250 must be made via debit card/credit card or net banking. For offline payment, download challan and make payment at HDFC/Axis bank

Step 4: AFCAT Application Form 2019 Status

  • After clicking on the SUBMIT button, application status can be checked on left side of the window.
